Qlyne documentation
Qlyne protects a site from bots, abuse and traffic peaks. A connector sits in front of the site and applies the rules you set in the dashboard: bot score and challenge, firewall and IP rules, rate limits, login protection, access gates and a waiting room for busy pages.
Pick a connector
Section titled “Pick a connector”The connector is what sees each request. Choose the one that matches where your site runs:
- Cloudflare Worker: your domain is on Cloudflare. The fastest way, and the only one that knows each visitor’s country and network.
- Next.js: a Next.js app on Vercel or any host that runs it, without Cloudflare.
- Qlyne proxy: a small container on your own server, between nginx, Caddy or Traefik and your app.
You download the connector from the dashboard, already set up for your site: open the site and go to Settings › Connector.
Without a connector
Section titled “Without a connector”- Form captcha: stops bots on a form with a short proof-of-work, no puzzle to solve.
- Scanner: checks your DNS, security headers, HTTPS, cookies and public files from the outside, the way any visitor sees them.
